The following data is computed by assuming that each income category has an even distribution of income. In other words if there are twenty people in an income category then there would be twenty incomes each staggered by the income range (usually $20,000) divided by the nubmer of people (20) in that category yelding, in this case, $1000 increments. The exception is the over $100,000 range where it is distributed between $100,000 and $200,000. These asumptions are almost certainly incorrect, however this was simple, and may serve for comparative purposes. Note US median household income for 2002 was $42,400 http://www.census.gov/hhes/income/income02/prs03asc.html but any comparisons here should be taken with a huge grain of salt, because of the above mentioned methodology and because some Kingdoms are reporting all or a portion of their income in dollars of a different currency. The median income is then the middlemost (or the lower of the two if there is no middle) income. The mean is the sum of all the incomes divided by the respondants. and the disparity is the mean minus the median.
