Report from the Grand Council: January, 2002

Directors of the SCA (and cc: Grand Council):

I am sorry to report that we have made NO progress at all this quarter.

We have received no feedback and no formal directions from you this quarter, and responses whatsoever from our ombudsman. This did not allow us to make any progress on anything at all, nor have we heard anything on our previous proposals and proposals in revision.

I have instructed the committee that we will self-assign workload at once.

I also would formally request that one of your items of business this quarter be to assign us an ombudsman that will make contact with the committee by both reading and maintaining active contact with our committee's mailing list, or failing that at least return private email responses when contacted by the officers of the committee.

You may also wish to audit Paul's other ombuds assignments for success.
