Report from the Grand Council: October, 2000

To the Directors, Greetings.

Following is the promised proposal on assizes, to be considered at your convenience. There have been significant changes since the last draft presented to you. I will send a paper copy to Milpitas by regular mail. If you desire some other form of delivery, or have any questions, please let me know.

Our Chair would like to "mention that we feel that assizes make a very good outline of a fair and useful process of justice, and that we'd appreciate seeing it preserved against a future need in some fashion. Whether that is policy manuals, or better than average institutional memory, or our web pages."
