Items Requiring Board Action
None
Detailed Status Report
Other Work Done by Council:The Council is voting on two proposals, one on due process, the other on the publication of reasons for sanctions. We will send you a report as soon as the vote is complete. Three other proposals, on Royal Justice and Attendance Bans, on Assizes (disciplinary panels with the power to impose sanctions) and on Board Sanctions, are in the pipeline, and we will turn to them as soon as the current vote is complete.
I regret that we were unable to have the first two proposals ready for this deadline. The Chairman felt that it would be impractical to hold a vote over the holidays. If you would like an advance look at these, or any of the other proposals waiting for consideration, please feel free to ask.
